Happy Mother's Day!
Pizza and Pajamas applauds Paige Zobel, an honor student and New Jersey senior at Haddonfield Memorial High School. Upon graduation, Ms. Zobel plans to pursue a career in nursing. This college-bound teenager, on her own, has organized a fundraiser to benefit the Susan G. Komen Organization in the fight against breast cancer. Pizza and Pajamas is proud to donate eight custom care package boxes for this event – including a pizza wall clock to hang in the dorm room of some lucky college student come September, 2010!

For students who need to eat gluten free (generally defined as meaning “no wheat products”), trying to find a gluten-free pizza at a restaurant is like trying to find “Pizzas from Heaven.” If you are a college student who thinks you might have a gluten-free sensitivity, please explore the symptoms of celiac disease.
But there is help on the way for those college students located close to Uno Chicago Grill, a national pizza franchise based in Boston. On January 14, 2009, this pizza chain issued a press release that it was the first national casual dining chain to offer a gluten free pizza. YEA!!
