The Pizza Crust
Pizza
and Pajamas suggests purchasing pizza dough from your local pizzeria
or supermarket. If you would like to make your own pizza dough, here are two recipe
recommendations. The first is a gluten-free dough mix for individuals who are
sensitive to wheat that can be ordered from Amazon.com Gluten-Free
Dough . Another choice that we like is a Gluten Free Pizza Dough Recipe that you can make yourself.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Brush a cookie sheet with oil.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured counter to a 10-inch round. Place on the cookie sheet and push up the edge a little. Cover and let stand in a warm place for 10 minutes.
Combine the parsley, basil, cilantro, chives, marjoram, garlic and sour cream in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Brush the pizza base with the flavored oil, then spread the herb mixture evenly over it almost to the edge. Sprinkle with the grated cheese and bake for 20 minutes, until crips and golden. Serve immediately.
This recipe is one of our favorites and is adapted from a book entitled Delicious Pizza. The Jersey Shore in the summer is all about Pizza Pie! Here is a social food that perfectly translates
all of the cultural elements of NY, NJ, Philly, and the Jersey Shore
towns (a slice for every personality). Pizza is loved by all and
is easily associated with a good time. People can see pizza and
the Shore in their minds. People can taste pizza and the Shore in
their minds. "The Jersey Shore,
Delicious- any way you slice it."
